BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Due to response from initial news of Garden of Eden Marketplace closing, Garden of Eden in Berkeley Heights may stay open.
According to store General Manager Robert Rosa, “In response to the planned closing of our store in Berkeley Heights, we've received an overwhelming response from our customers asking us to stay open.”
“In the last two days, we've also had our highest amount of store traffic ever. Customers who came in looking for a bargain gave us a lot of feedback, and we listened. All of us at Garden of Eden are passionate about what we do, and we really want to stay open. This isn’t a publicity stunt, and we truly are looking at every option for a business model that lets us stick around. We want to keep what’s good about our store, and focus on adapting it to suit our customers’ needs as best we can.”
