Gene Killian, The Killian Firm, P.C., to Present at Newark Regional Business Partnership

On Friday, April 8th, Gene Killian, The Killian Firm, P.C., will join John Goldsmith and Peter Avery, Buchanan, Ingersoll and Rooney and Gary Young, Herrick Feinstein LLP as a Presenter in the first of a two-part series, “Hot Legal Topics: Rules Every Business Needs to Know, Part I – Social Media in the Workplace, Wage and Hour Issues.”  The presentation is hosted by Newark Regional Business Partnership and is part of their Brown Bag Lunch series.  The program will share new rules and laws that impact business, addressing social media in the workplace and wage and hour issues.

Gene Killian specializes in insurance, employment and commercial litigation.  His firm, The Killian Firm, P.C., was founded in 1995. The firm is AV-rated (highest peer review available for competence and ethics), and was recently recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the “tier one” leading insurance firms in New Jersey (representing business policyholders).  Gene Killian was recently profiled by The Star-Ledger and featured on WRNJ radio.

Gene is a Charter Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, an invitation-only organization of elite trial attorneys.  He has served as lead trial counsel in several landmark cases, such as Universal-Rundle Corp. v. American Motorists Insurance Co., which defined the scope of insurance coverage for environmental contamination under New Jersey law.
