SPARTA, NJ- It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The Sparta VFW has been getting set up for their annual Christmas tree sale.  Beginning Thanksgiving weekend trees can be purchased right on Main Street on the front lawn of the Sparta VFW.

According to Commander Pete Litchfield a large selection of fresh trees from six to 12 feet will be available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until they are sold out.

The proceeds of the sales will go to the Ralph Rojas Memorial Scholarship fund, according to Litchfield. Veterans and First Responders will get a 10% discount.

Volunteers will be on site to help with your purchase.

The sale runs Friday from noon until 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
