Giants Fans Show Up for Big Blue Hall of Famers in Chatham

CHATHAM, NJ - Chris Krummer showed up at legends Gallery at 10:15 a.m., nearly three hours before Giants Hall of Famers. coach Bill Parcells, and linebackers Lawrence Taylor and Harry Carson appeared at Legends Gallery on Saturday.

Krummer, who hails from Edison, was first in line, along with friends Frank and Cheryl Schenck of Linden. They were joined later by "G Monster" Ed Yannette, who made his way to Legends Gallery from his home in Rockaway. During Giants games, Yannette's home is Section 104.

Artist Mark Kannell showed off his latest painting, featuring Taylor, Parcells and Carson.

Giants fans are unhappy with the current season's 0-6 start, but were all smiles on Saturday to meet Parcells, Carson and Taylor.

Parcells was 177-130-1 durin his tenure with the Giants, leading them to Super Bowl championships in 1986 and 1990.

Taylor was named All-Pro in each of his first nine seasons in the NFL and was named the league's Most Valuble Player in 1986 when he recorded 20.5 sacks and had 105 tackles. He concluded his brilliant career with 132.5 sacks and 1,088 tackles.

Carson's season in 1986 was just as impressive as Taylor's. He wound up with 118 tackles for the Giants that year. He finished his career with 11 interceptions.
