The Sixth Annual Luncheon & Silent Auction to benefit Gilda’s Club South Jersey at Wawa Center, held Friday, October 15th, at the Palm Restaurant  in Tropicana Casino & Resort, proved, as usual to be a huge success, with some 250 movers and shakers in attendance,

The club honored Kevin DeSanctis, CEO of Revel Entertainment for his dedication, support, and contributions to the club. A silent auction also was held.

Michelle Dawn Mooney, anchor of NBC40’s news program, was mistress of ceremonies. Sarah Griffith, CEO of Gilda’s Club South Jersey, offered opening remarks.  Lynn Dooley and Barbara Golmes were event chairs, and Phyliss Lacca and Billy McCullough were co-chairs.

All proceeds from the luncheon benefit Gilda’s Club South Jersey and its programs, which include over 1,200 activities each year and its support groups. Anyone living with cancer is welcome to participate, along with their families and friends, at no cost.
