Gilligan Leads Four-Goal Outburst in Second Half for Chatham Field Hockey

CHATHAM, NJ - Senior forward Brynn Gilligan scored two goals and senior midfielder Danielle Melchionna notched a goal and two assists as Chatham netted four goals in the second half to score a 4-1 field hockey victory over Morris Knolls on Tuesday at Haas Field.

Morris Knolls (1-0) got a goal from Stephanie Hughes to take a 1-0 lead into the break before Chatham (2-0) stormed back.

Junior forward Mary Farricker also contributed a goal for Chatham, which received an assist apiece from Jess Barry and Amanda Helfrich. Emily Buckman was credited with four saves for the Cougars.
