PARKLAND, FL- The Gina Rose Montalto Memorial Foundation is hosting its Fourth Annual "Egg My Lawn" Fundraiser. With a minimum donation of $25, ''Easter Bunnies" will deliver candy-filled and toy-filled plastic eggs in your yard the evening before Easter in the Parkland and North Coral Springs Neighborhoods.

Gina Montalto lost her life in February 2018 during the tragedy at Stoneman Douglas. Gina had an infectious personality and a smile that would light up the room. She cared about education and helping others. The Gina Rose Montalto Memorial Foundation was set up to honor her life and memory. Donations to the Foundation provide scholarships to help students with the cost of post secondary education, as well as make other charitable donations to causes Gina supported.

Friends and Neighbors started the First "Egg My Lawn" in 2018 as a tribute to Gina, who loved Easter, children and hunting for Easter eggs. "Egg My Lawn" is a great opportunity to surprise your children, friends or neighbor on Easter morning while keeping Gina's memory alive.

"It's such a fitting tribute to Gina who loved the thrill of the hunt on Easter morning," shared Gina's mother, Jen Montalto.

Community members will receive 30 Eggs for a $25 and 60 Eggs for a $50 donation to the Foundation. You also have an opportunity to purchase a golden egg for $5 each. The eggs will contain candy and toys and the golden egg will contain a special surprise.

The volunteer bunnies are committed to delivering the joy of the Easter Egg Hunt to your home even through the Coronavirus pandemic. They are taking extra precautions and making accommodations to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus. You will have the opportunity to chose to have bunnies hide the eggs for you or have the bunnies leave a discrete package at your front door to hide on your own.

The eggs will be delivered between 8:00 p.m.- midnight on Easter Eve, Saturday, April 3. Easter bunny footprints will be on your walkway as evidence of the bunny’s visit and a lawn sign to let your neighbors know of your generous support to the Foundation.

The Foundation is collecting donations to bring the Easter Egg hunt to those less fortunate. They are collecting donations for special families in the area and for the SOS Children's Village. If you would like to donate to the cause click here and indicate your donation in the Special instructions box on the form.

"One of the beautiful aspects of donating and spreading the love, is that it embodies Gina's true spirit and soul," shared volunteer bunny Catherine Walker.
