Gino in Winter

We're lucky to have a small hill right in front of the school.
The students like to ride together.
I love to chase the Frisbee!
I could play fetch all day!
The students relax with a cup of hot chocoloate.

My favorite thing in winter is the snow.  I love to run, roll, and play in it especially with Mrs. Arthur’s gym class.  The students go sleigh riding, while I run after them down the hill in front of school. We also play fetch with my Frisbee.  I love it when the Frisbee gets buried in the snow, and we have to search for it. The students also make snow angels. And, then they sometimes get hot chocolate after. I can’t wait for more snow!

My name is Gino. I am a specially trained assistance dog from Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). CCI is a national, non-profit organization that provides highly trained assistance dogs, like me, to increase independence and enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities. Now, I am a Facility Dog at ECLC of New Jersey’s school in Chatham, N.J., for children with special needs.
