WEST CALDWELL, NJ — The Caldwell girls basketball team built a 21-point halftime lead on its way to a 55-29 victory over Arts High School on Tuesday.

Lauren Sanderson sank four 3-pointers and scored 16 points for Caldwell (10-3), which jumped to an 18-7 lead after one quarter and led, 33-12, at halftime.

Brielle Guarente scored 10 points for the Lady Chiefs and Natalie Lorenz finished with eight points in the win, the third straight for Caldwell. 

On Monday, Caldwell defeated Newark Tech. Guarente finished with 16 points and Sanderson and Lorenz each had 11 points in that game.
