DENVILLE, NJ – The Morris Knolls girls basketball team defeated Mount Olive, 44-28, at home in Denville on Thu Feb 25.

Twin sisters Kira and Brianna Mennella led the game with 14 and 13 points, respectively. Kira sank three three-pointers, the only Golden Eagle to nail one from deep range during the game.

Ainsley Williams scored nine points for Mount Olive. Adrianna Chaparro contributed eight.

The 6-6 Lady Eagles will travel to Roxbury (3-7) on Mon March 1 for a 4 p.m. game start.
