SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ -- South Brunswick erased an early deficit and took command in the second quarter en route to a 48-45 girls basketball victory over Old Bridge on Thursday.

Cassie Vega finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals for South Brunswick, which took a 24-17 halftime lead with a 17-7 showing in the second period.

Sydney Coleman finished with 12 points, four rebounds and two steals for the Lady Vikings. Carla Seyfarth paced South Brunswick in rebounding with six.
