NEWARK, NJ -- The West Orange girls basketball team avenged a January loss to Newark Tech Thursday with a 60-57 overtime victory on the road.

Senior forward Mya Bembry, a Penn State University commit, led the way for West Orange (17-3) with 29 points, 15 rebounds, three blocked shots, two assists and two steals.

Freshman guard Kiley Capstraw finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds and two steals for the Mountaineers, who had lost, 66-33, to Newark Tech (17-4) the first time the teams met. Mackenzie Dover led the Mountaineers in assists with four, and Ebony OdomBarnes grabbed six rebounds in the victory.
