BLAIRSTOWN, N.J. -- Karen Degnan continued her remarkable season with seven goals and Lauren Power scored three times to move closer to a huge milestone when the Union Catholic girls lacrosse team fell to North Warren, 18-17, in overtime on Thursday in Blairstown.

With her seven goals, Degnan, a senior, raised her season total to an astounding 27 goals in just seven games this season.

Power's three goals gives her 98 for her remarkable career. The senior can hit the 100 goal mark when Union Catholic plays at Parsippany on Saturday  at 2 p.m.

Coral Briber and Jordan Mamouzette also had big games for the Vikings vs. North Warren as both players scored three goals.
