LIVINGSTON, NJ - Livingston scored three goals in the first half and went on to a 4-1 girls soccer victory in the first round of the Essex County Tournament on Wednesday.

Junior forward Kayla Parsons scored twice and sophomore forward Lauren Belcuore added three assists for the Lancers (9-3-2), the fifth seed. Senior Sarah Miller and junior Avery Conklin each scored one goal in the victory.
Senior Claudia Kamikow and sophomore Samantha Lichtstein made one save, as Livingston outshot 12th-seeded Verona, 14-3. Livingston will play at Montclair-Kimberley in the quarterfinal round on Saturday.
