LIVINGSTON, NJ -- Alessia DiBlasi and Isabella Chen of Livingston each qualified for the NJSIAA Meet of Champions after winning two events each in the Super Essex Conference championships on Monday.

Although Livingston finished eighth overall in the team standings, DiBlasi and Chen each came in first place in two events.

DiBlasi swam a 24.68 in the 50-yard freestyle to win the event by .22. She also won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.65.

Chen's winning time in the 100-yard butterfly was 58.10, which beat the second-place swimmer's time of 1:01.28. Chen was the county champion in the 100-yard breaststroke, as well, with a time of 1:05.26.
