Morgan said Rodrigues joins two other girls on recreation team, Megan Caputo and Madison Glasco, competing against both boys and girls.

“This year NJSIAA approved a girls wrestling division on the high school level and the sport is growing rapidly for girls,” he said. “We are happy to have our three girls and hope to add a lot more next season and get to the point where we have separate girls squads.”

Rodrigues’ brother, Gabriel wrestles for Piscataway High School.
