Glorious Garden Tour

Celebrate the season with a look at five private gardens in Chatham and Harding Township. The Glorious Garden Tour and More  is a benefit garden tour to be held on Saturday,  June 7 from 10 am to 3 pm. with a kickoff cocktail party on Friday, June 6 from 6:30 to 9 pm. It is presented by the board and friends of Senior Services Center of the Chathams.

The cocktail party is a new feature this year and will be held in a beautiful historic Chatham home.  Weichert Realtors, Chatham, is the sponsor of the cocktail party. The Glorious Garden Tour, sponsored by Fellowship Senior Living, will occur the next day and features 5 gardens.

 Advance reservations can be made at the Senior Center of the Chathams or online at www.chathamseniorcenter.org.  Reservation forms are also available at the Library of the Chathams, Main Street, and TM Ward Coffee, 7 South Passaic, both in Chatham.  The cost is $30 for the garden tour and $35for the cocktail party. On the day of the garden tour, the cost will be $40 for walk-ins.

Proceeds from the tour will be used to support the programs and services of Senior Services of the Chathams, a 24-year-old not for profit serving the needs of those 60 and older through a Senior Center, a bus service, and an information and referral service.  For more information, call 973 635-4565.
