Golda Och Academy is pleased to announce the launch of our brand new dynamic website www.goldaochacademy.org. The new site is built to function on a desktop, tablet or smartphone and features an updated look with better menu options and an easy-to-use navigation bar.
The homepage features many items of interest for parents, students, staff, the community and prospective families, including news items, a dynamic calendar with filter settings, and the Golda Och Academy Twitter feed.
The improved overall usability of the site will make it simple for families to apply to the school, and to find out about the many tuition reduction programs available. The website is more intuitive and accessible, with an interface that allows users to easily learn about all the school has to offer, including new events and programs open to the community.
“The redesigned website has a new look and improved functionality to ensure an easier and more engaging experience for all of our users,” said Glenn Slavin, Direction of Marketing and Communications. “We have thought carefully about how to create an online experience that mirrors the excellence of Golda Och Academy. We are excited that this launch will provide a superior avenue to share with GOA families and the community all of the wonderful things that are going on at GOA.”
In addition to a redesigned public-facing website, the school also revamped the faculty, parent and student back-end technology infrastructure. The upgrade features an entire overhaul of the user experience, including enhancements such as easy-to-use class pages, internal messaging with notification options, an upgraded easy-to-read calendar, and an activity stream that displays a continuous update of all school communications.
“The launch of our new website marks an important milestone in our ongoing effort to provide excellence in communication and technology for all our constituents,” said Rabbi Joyce Raynor, Head of School. “We continually strive to make things easier for our parents and faculty, and this upgraded user experience will streamline many administrative functions and enable ease of communication throughout the school.”
