HACKENSACK, NJ – Picture it. Hackensack, New Jersey. 2019.

Sophia Petrillo has gone missing and it’s up to Dorothy, Blanche and Rose to find her.

On Sunday evening, you can follow their journey at the Hackensack Performing Arts Center, where The Golden Gays NYC will present a musical parody of the hit television show.

The performance - which features Jason B. Schmidt as Dorothy, Andy Crosten as Blanche and Gerry Mastrolia - features live singing and dancing, along with sketches from the tv show’s most memorable moments. Along the way, audience members will interact with the cast while competing to become the next #TokenSophia.

Since forming in 2017 at RuPaul's DragCon, The Golden Gays NYC now regularly sells out shows in New York City and beyond, and just marked its third summer tour across the country this year.

A portion of ticket sales from Friday’s show will be donated to The Trevor Project, a non-profit that focuses on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.
