NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Kedhar Narayan, an 11-year-old fifth-grader in New Providence, competed in the Golden Key Music Festival Composition Competion in the spring, winning first place in the junior (age 11-14) national category for his original composition, "Changing Wilderness."

He had the honor of performing his piece at Ehrbar Hall in Vienna, Austria on July 17. He performed on the famous stage with winners from the United States, Canada, Russia, China and Australia. He studies the piano with Dr. Ray Landers and Eric Olsen.
