UNION, NJ - Gov. Livingston spring hockey team skated past Bayonne, 7-6, in the championship game on Friday night at Union Sports Arena. Danny Kramer scored five goals for Gov. Livingston with Thomas Sousa and Billy Alexander with one each.

The 9-0-1 Gov. Livingston spring team was coached by Jerry Petrucci. "This successful spring hockey is just the beginning of good things to come in the winter hockey season," said Kyle Kramer, who returned to the ice for this spring season.

"I'm excited for the winter hockey season, especially after seeing the freshman talent joining the varsity team," said lead team scorer Danny Kramer. "The chemistry between freshman and varsity players is unlike any other year."

The team will move forward into the 2014-15 season and keep the positive momentum going --  Gov. Livingston Head Hockey Coach Matt Anderson told TAP into Berkeley Heights at the end of the 2014 winter season, "I'm looking forward to a breakout season next year for our program and to maybe surprise a few teams that got the better of us this year."
