Gov. Livingston Students Win 1st Place For 2014 Public Service Announcement Contest

WESTFIELD, NJ - Gov. Livingston students were awarded first place winner at the Union County Prevention Links annual awards night on Tuesday for the 2014 Public Service Announcement contest at the Rialto Theater in Westfield. 

The team of students including Alexandra Paplitskas, Joeli Loaiza and Celeste Teodosio were selected as one of the top 5 finalists out of 40 submissions back in April.  The topic of the PSA is "The Dangers of Underage Drinking". After critiqued by judges and online voting, Gov. Livingston was announced the 1st place winner with the school receiving a $1,000 award.

Gov. Livingston was also awarded a prize of a Go Pro Hero 3 camera for having the most people in attendance.
