Boys Soccer:
Thursday, Oct. 3, Gov. Livingston defeated Johnson (2-1) in overtime, with goals by Chris Marzo and Chris Moran. Markos Mavrostomos had an assist.
Tuesday, Oct. 1, Gov. Livingston shut out Rahway (3-0), with goals by Trevor Bachert, Chris Marzo and Chris Moran. Tiago Paiva, Matt Schkolnick and Kona Haramoto had assists.
Highlanders next game is at Bridgewater-Raritan, Saturday, Oct. 5 at 2:30 p.m.
Girls Soccer:
Thursday, Oct. 3, Gov. Livingston defeated Union (3-2), Logan Boening (1) and Lauren Jankowski (2) scored with assists by Lindsay DiStaso and Lauren Jankowski. Goalie, Olivia Emanuel recorded 9 saves.
Tuesday, Oc. 1, Gov. Livingston lost to undefeated Scotch Plains (1-5). Lauren Jankowski scored the goal for Gov. Livingston.
Lady Highlanders next game is against New Providence away Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 4 p.m.
Field Hockey:
Thursday, Oct. 3, Gov. Livingston defeated Union (2-1) at Union County Tournament. Nicole DeMarco scored game-winning goal in overtime. Shree Mehrotra scored from an assist by Erica Frezza. Goalie Amalia Heissler had 3 saves.
Lady Highlanders play today against Newark Academy at home at 4 p.m.
Round Two of the Union County Tournament will be played Saturday, Oct. 5 against Johnson at Kent Place School at 2:30 p.m.
Girls Tennis:
Thursday, Oct. 3, Gov. Livingston defeated Morris Hills (5-0) in the First Round of the NJSIAA Tournament, North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3.
Cross Country:
Tuesday, Oct. 1, Gov. Livingston ran in a home meet against Hillside and Rahway.
Highlanders' next varsity meet is against Johnson away on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 4 p.m.
