Wednesday, February 5:

School Superintendent's Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. at Marshall School, 262 Grove Road

South Orange Transportation Committee meeting at 7:30 p.m. at 76 South Orange Ave.,3rd floor, Suite 302


Thursday, February 6:

SOPL Discussion Group at 1 p.m. at the S.O. Public Library: Peri Smilow, singer/songwriter, educator, and community organizer, will entertain.


Saturday, February 8:

I “Heart” Maplewood Village – day of fun events, shopping and dining downtown.

Black History Month celebration at 1:30 p.m. at the Maplewood Public Library on Baker Street, featuring Evidence of Evolution, the collage art of Mansa K. Mussa. The artist will give a talk at 2:30, and music will be provided by The James White Band, performing their incomparable, riveting jazz. Free and open to the public.

Jane Monheit in concert at SOPAC at 8 p.m.
