Governor Chris Christie made a surprise visit to Ferraro's Restaurant in Westfield Aug. 14 before heading to Scotch Plains to receive an endorsement by Mayor Kevin Glover.
Christie stopped by for lunch at the Westfield landmark, which reopened last year following a fire, around 1 p.m. It was a special day for the restaurant, according to the Ferraro family, pictured with the governor here. Ferarro's first opened in 1969.
