Governor Livingston High School Gets New Marquee Sign

By GOV. LIVINGSTON PTO

September 26, 2013 at 11:55 PM

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Governor Livingston High School PTO donated a new electronic LED sign this summer, replacing the antiquated one that was more than 40 years old in the front of the school.  Some of the benefits of having an electronic sign are that it allows for several messages to be displayed in an infinite loop, it can be accessed from inside the building and can be changed at the click of a button, and it has an on/off timer feature.

The new sign cost the Governor Livingston High School PTO approximately $11,000, including installation.  Anjali Mehrotra, the President of the GL PTO, commented, “We are really excited about our gift to school this year – I have received numerous emails of support expressing that this is a great idea!”  In addition to announcing events, this sign is another way that the administration can share information regarding the successes of its students in the areas of academics, athletics and community service.
