WESTFIELD, NJ — The Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce (GWACC) held its monthly open networking breakfast Tuesday at Kennedy's All-American Barber Club downtown, where members and prospective members had the opportunity to pass business cards and network.  Every participant enjoyed the opportunity to spend a few minutes sharing information about their business with the group. Complimentary breakfast treats and coffee were provided by Kennedy's.

GWACC Executive Director Heather Robinson thanked Dainia Oren, owner of Kennedy’s, for stepping up when earlier plans for the breakfast fell through.

“I keep getting the same feedback as I leave these events,” said Robinson.  “People say, 'I can feel the caring and passion of everyone here!’ That positive energy leads to very real business opportunities for our attendees. And our hope is that those businesses benefiting financially from our events will cast their vote of support by joining the chamber.”

The GWACC’s next open networking event will be a happy hour at Maggie Cooks in Westfield on Feb. 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Register online at www.westfieldareachamber.com on the events page. The cost is $10 for current members, $15 for prospective members.
