Gregory Elementary School Fifth Grade Activities Committee in West Orange Holding Unique Fund Raiser

WEST ORANGE, NJ - The Fifth Grade Activities Committee at Gregory Elementary School has come up with a unique fundraiser geared towards parents and adults in the West Orange Community. Adult classes will be offered in Yoga, Zumba, DSLR Photography, and Gardening for five consecutive Tuesday nights beginning on Feb. 25, and classes will run from 7:30 - 8:30 pm. The classes will be held at Gregory Elementary School, 301 Gregory Avenue, in West Orange.

The deadline is Feb. 25 to register, and the classes are open to adults in the community. 

Each year, fifth grade activities committees at each elementary school raise money for fifth grade special events, trips, and graduation activities. The committees are run by fifth grade parents that are also part of their respective PTAs.

The Yoga and Zumba classes, which are $60.00 for the 5-week sessions, will also accept walk-ins with a $15.00 door charge.

The Gardening and DSLR Photography classes require registration and are $70.00 for the five-week session.

EAST ORANGE, NJ - The Shauger Group, Inc. (TSG) has once again partnered with former New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford to spread holiday cheer and help families in need around Thanksgiving.

On Tuesday, Nov. 22 Weatherford and Donald Shauger, vice president of TSG, handed out turkeys to underprivileged families in Newark in an effort organized by the Believe in Newark Foundation.
