WEST ORANGE, NJ - The Gregory Elementary School PTA has announced plans for their Feb. 22 "Used Clothing and Other Goodies" fundraiser. On Feb. 22, the community is asked to drop off used clothing, shoes, belts, handbags, toys, soft household items (rugs, towels, linens, curtains), small pots and pans, baby items and other accessories to the Gregory Elementary School parking lot, 301 Gregory Avenue, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Large furniture, books, and electronics cannot be accepted.
The items should be placed in large plastic bags and tied securely. The donated items will be weighed and the Gregory PTA will receive a per pound amount. There is a minimum requirement of 100 bags for the fundraiser to be successful.
Gregory Elementary School is celebrating its Centennial Anniversary this year, and several commemorative events are being planned.
