Junior LAURA GREGORY (New Providence, N.J./New Providence) of the Muhlenberg College women’s basketball team was named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll.
To be named to the Academic Honor Roll, a student must be a sophomore or higher in class standing; a starter or key reserve on her team; and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.
A double major in business administration and finance, Gregory helped the Mules earn a Centennial Conference playoff berth in 2014.
Gregory saw action in 23 games as a reserve forward for the Mules, averaging 3.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. Gregory also dished out 30 assists and recorded 13 steals. A member of the Academic Honor Roll for the second straight season, Gregory netted a career-high 13 points in a victory at Albertus Magnus.
After finishing 12-6 in the Centennial Conference, the Mules earned their ninth consecutive playoff berth and a first-round home game as the No. 4 seed. Muhlenberg, which finished 16-10 overall, was eliminated by Gettysburg in the first round of the league playoffs.
