WESTFIELD, NJ—More than 40 current and future members of the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce gathered this morning at the Bagel Chateau in Westfield for an open networking breakfast. Attendees exchanged business cards and got to know one another over complementary coffee and bagels. Every participant enjoyed the opportunity to spend a few minutes sharing details about their business with the group.
“As we start 2013, local interest in our efforts is at a peak, and many new members, such as Bagel Chateau, want to get involved,” said GWACC Executive Director Heather Robinson. “This year is about strengthening the value we bring to our local business community. The Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce is a ‘place’ where relationships happen and mutual benefit occurs. Our value is in our involvement. And, I'm happy to say, the energy level is through the roof!”
The GWACC’s next open networking event will be a wine tasting on Monday, Jan. 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 16 Prospect Wine Bar & Bistro in Downtown Westfield . Register online at www.westfieldareachamber.com.
