ORANGE, NJ - The Heal, Empower, Love & Prepare (H.E.L.P.) Program is a new Domestic Violence Program that will offer services throughout the Oranges, Newark and Irvington. The program offers preventative information, referral services and coaching for ‘at-risk’ individuals. 

Their first program will be held Saturday February 16, 2019 from 12 - 4 pm at the West Orange Arts Council 551 Valley Road West Orange, NJ.

H.E.L.P. was founded to offer preventative information to ensure Domestic Violence no longer continues to fracture the family structure. The H.E.L.P. Program began as a response to the great need for social as well as comprehensive services for Domestic Violence in Essex County.  The H.E.L.P. Program focus areas are: Newark, Irvington, Orange, East Orange, and West Orange.

Quarterly Empowerment Knowledge Programs: meet with women ages 16 – 60 to discuss the different components of Domestic Violence and advocate prevention.

Homeless Prevention: direct misplaced families of Domestic Violence to emergency shelters, emergency food banks and assist individuals in stabilizing living conditions. 

Counseling/Life Coach: connect victims with mental health professionals and/or mentors. 

Their first program will be held on Saturday February 16, 2019 from 12 pm to 4 pm at West Orange Arts Council 551 Valley Road West Orange, NJ  07052.

The vision for the H.E.L.P program and its provision of services, is to bring awareness, prevent domestic violence and raise money to (H)EAL, (E)MPOWER, (L)OVE, (P)REPARE.
