HAMILTON, NJ --  Members of the Hamilton Township Police Department responded to a call suspected aggravated assault incident at the busy Dunkin Donuts located on 766 Route 33 Monday.

Once on scene officers were told of a dispute between an employee of the Dunkin Donuts, and an employee of the neighboring Boston Market restaurant. An additional male also at the scene was also said to be involved.

The dispute, police were told, escalated into a physical altercation which also involved a vehicle belonging to one of the males.

As a result of the incident, Safwat Habashy, 37, Hamilton, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, various weapons charges, and criminal mischief.  No further information regarding the incident or potential injuries were available at the time of the Wednesday evening report.
