MADISON, NJ - In September 2018 the Harding Madison Ice Hockey Club launched its first ever girls’ team. The unit battled throughout the season in the Twin Oaks Youth Hockey League.   On Tuesday, March 12th they will challenge  the Jersey Colts in the semi final round of the league playoffs.

"It has been an exceptional year for this new team, " said Tim Reilly Team Coach.  "The team is led by goalkeeper Yuliana Krol who has provided steady and skilled protection of the net. Emma Wirth, Ava Haralampoudis, Mandy Scott and Allison Reilly played in almost every game delivering consistency and experience as the season progressed."

"The highlight of the season was the team’s outdoor game at the Beacon Hill Club in Summit, NJ. Although the team lost 2-1 to the Beacon Hill's U12 squad it was a spirited and exciting event," Reilly added.

"This was the first year of hockey for many of the girls and the rapid development of players like Iris and Ivory Piskula led to a dramatic improvement in skills and quality of play. It has been an amazing season.  The team is grateful to Tony Gero and the entire Harding Madison Ice Hockey Club for making it happen," said Reilly.

Players can reach out directly to the team if they want to get involved next season.
