Harvey Sets Career-High in New Providence Boys LAX's 14-2 Victory Over Verona

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – Junior Jack Harvey continued his early season success, scoring a career-high six goals to lead the New Providence boys’ lacrosse team past Verona, 14-2.

The Pioneers improved to a perfect 7-0 with Wednesday’s victory.

New Providence scored 13 first half goals, their highest one-half total of the season.

With his lifetime-best six goals, Harvey now leads the Pioneers with 25 tallies.

Senior James Burke added three goals and four assists for New Providence, all in support of Garrett Pope.

The first-year varsity goalie stopped three of the four shots he faced to earn his seventh win of the season.

The Pioneers have the entire Spring Break week off and are back in action on Tuesday, April 22 when they host Scotch Plains-Fanwood at 4 p.m.
