PATERSON, NJ - When the New Jersey Department of Health announced that Green Thumb Industries Inc. (GTI), a national cannabis consumer packaged goods company, had been selected to apply for permits to open a new medical marijuana dispensary in Paterson, Mayor Andre Sayegh said that the newest entrant to Paterson’s business community would mean jobs for local residents.
On Monday, GTI and its Rise Paterson dispensary, will be holding a hiring fair to give Paterson residents the opportunity to learn more about, and apply for, several open positions including patient care specialists and shift supervisors.
Doors for the hiring event, to be held at 32 Spruce Street, will open at 9:00 a.m, and the open career fair will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Headquartered in Chicago, GTI currently employs nearly 1,200 people and serves thousands of patients and customers each year. GTI was recently named a Best Workplace by Crain’s Chicago Business and as a top workplace by MG Retailer Magazine.
“GTI is honored to be welcomed to Paterson’s thriving business community and similarly we welcome Paterson residents to be part of our growing family, which is why GTI is committed to hire within the local community we serve,” said GTI Market President Devra Karlebach.
Resumes are welcomed but not required for the hiring fair. Click here to learn more about GTI.
