Fostering Resilience in the Aftermath of Trauma and Loss

Donna has been the Executive Director of The Dougy Center for Grieving Children in Portland, Oregon since 1991. Dr. Schuurman is a well-known speaker in the field of children’s grief and has presented workshops to professionals as well as community members on topics such as talking about death, suicide prevention, and traumatic losses. She will present information about how to support children and teens coping with trauma and loss.
