Heritage House Restaurant Coming to Montclair

MONTCLAIR, NJ - John Lee of Devil Gourmet has reported that a new restaurant will be coming to Montclair soon.  Heritage House, which is located at 44 South Park Street in Montclair will be open 7 days a week, Mon – Thur  6AM – 7PM; Friday  6AM – 9PM; Saturday  7AM – 9PM; and Sunday  7AM – 7PM.

Lee stated, "Heritage House is set to open soon in the space formerly occupied by J & K Steakhouse. Located in the Sienna building, Heritage House bills itself as 'Everything begins with food and revolves around it!  Family dinners, Holidays, celebrations and simply a fun evening out. Food is the back bone of life.  We look forward to FEEDING you!' "

Ibtihaj Muhammad of Maplewood Appointed to Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Ibtihaj Muhammad of Maplewood has been named by President Barack Obama as one of four Olympic medalists to join the President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, according to a press release from USA Fencing. Muhammad was an Olympic bronze medalist in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.

Woodland Park Police Recover Body in Morris Canal

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - A body was recovered by authorities Friday morning in a section of a stream located in the Morris Canal. Police closed off the area located behind the American Legion Hall on Mount Pleasant Avenue, where they were investigating the scene.
