The Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP) announces that e-Tickets for the redesigned 2012 Philadelphia Auto Show are now available for purchase.  Consumers who purchase tickets before January 1 can enjoy $2.00 off of adult admission by entering promo code “HOLIDAY” when placing their order at  Tickets can be printed instantaneously from the comfort of your own home.

 In addition to exciting the buying public about the latest and greatest in the automotive industry, the Philadelphia Auto Show also gives back to its community. Similar to last year, the ADAGP will proudly continue its charitable giving in 2012 by donating $2.00 to the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation from every Auto Show ticket sold. These donations will be used to support a number of programs run by the Foundation, including its Driving Away the Cold campaign, which provides new winter coats to underprivileged children living in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Auto Show festivities will kick-off with its annual Black Tie Tailgate, which is set for Friday, January 27, from 7:00p.m. to 11:30p.m. at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.  At this event, individuals are invited to take a first look at the hundreds of exotic cars, classic automobiles, new production vehicles, concept models and tuners on display at the show. The menu for the evening will be designed by Stephen STARR Events in conjunction with ARAMARK/SFS and entertainment will be provided by Jellyroll.  Tickets are $225.00 per person and are also available at The Black Tie Tailgate is open to the public. Event proceeds will benefit the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia through the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation.

The American Hockey League announced that hockey greats Bill Barber and Bob Clarke will serve as the honorary captains at the 2012 AHL All-Star Classic, to be held January 29-30 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.. Each year, the All-Star Classic honorary captains stand on the team benches during the Skills Competition and All-Star Game, and are recognized for their careers at the annual AHL Hall of Fame Inductions & Awards Ceremony.

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, the highly anticipated fourth installment of the action epic Mission: Impossible franchise from Paramount Pictures, begins previews on December 15 at IMAX® Theatre at Tropicana and opens worldwide on December 21, 2011.

Trop officials announced that a deal has been reached to bring an all-new, electrifying Boogie Nights club experience to Tropicana. "This will be the only Boogie Nights location in Atlantic City. Party goers who are familiar with the Boogie Nights brand are in for a whole new experience when the party moves to Tropicana. An incredible new sound system, state-of-the-art lighted dance floor and characters are just the start of the surprises we have in store," said Tony Rodio, Tropicana's president and chief executive officer. Boogie Nights started out as a unique nightclub brand in the Atlantic City market.
