PATERSON, NJ - Holiday Express is coming to Oasis in Paterson for a special Christmas show this weekend.
Founded by Tim McLoone, Holiday Express visits adults and children in need, including the mentally and physically disabled, the isolated, individuals in addiction and recovery programs, the poor and the homeless, and children with serious illnesses. At Oasis: A Haven for Women and Children, Holiday Express will perform for the 85 students and families of the Michael Wagner Afterschool Program on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Oasis, located at 59 Mill St. in Paterson.
Holiday Express is comprised of more than 1,400 volunteers, including 100 professional singers and musicians.
"I have known Tim for years, and his generosity in founding Holiday Express knows no bounds,” said Oasis Executive Director Sister Gloria Perez. “The show itself is fantastic, with lots of singing and surprises along the way. Our students are in for a real treat.”
Each Holiday Express event comes complete with a visit from the Grinch, Frosty and Santa.
