This was set up as a result of a 50-yard over-the-shoulder catch from Negro to Ramirez.

A few minutes into the second quarter, Wood-Ridge's Daniel Riser made a key defensive play. blocking a punt to set the offense up on the 33-yard line. The ensuing drive would end in a 35-yard field goal from Elezaj to extend the lead to 13-7.

Following the extra point from Amaya, the Panthers helda 14-13 lead.

On the very first play, running back Nick Marchitelli broke off for an 80-yard touchdown run with 5:20 remaining in the 4th. However, the 2-point conversion to tie the game was unsuccessful as Marchitelli dropped the ball in the backfield on a pitch play to make the score 21-19.

The final points of the game came on a 62-yard touchdown run from Fabrice Remy on the Panther offense. The extra point from Amaya was wide right, making the score 27-19 with 2:13 remaining in the game.
