“Natalie had a tremendous season for us. She came into the season with such laser focus.

This season we decided to move her to striker and boy did it payoff, as she finished with 24 goals in 14 games. She found the back of the net in 11 games.  Last year, we had some issues finishing, and we felt that we needed more of a threat up top. Natalie is a very creative and crafty player. She reads the game well and is quickly able to find open space which gives our opponents backline fits.  She has always been good in taking on defenders. This year she worked very hard on improving her shooting from distance and taking free kicks. The improvement in these two areas really made her a serious threat. I am very proud of her and what she was able to accomplish this season as a senior.

This is a well deserved honor. Natalie has left her mark on the program. She is the all-time leading scorer, has the record for most goals in a season, and is tied for most goals scored in a game.  While our season ended abruptly, Natalie was a bright spot for our program in the most chaotic time for high school athletics.  She will be sorely missed next season. “
