Hundreds of RWJBarnabas Health Employees Run in New Jersey Half Marathon

LONG BRANCH, NJ — RWJBarnabas Health leaders Stephen Zieniewicz, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and Bill Arnold, president and CEO of Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch were joined by 200 RWJBarnabas Health employees as they ran in the New Jersey Half Marathon on at the Jersey Shore.

The 22nd annual Novo Nordisk New Jersey Marathon began at the Monmouth Park Racetrack and ended at the Ocean Promenade in Long Branch.

Despite the wind and rain, RWJBarnabas staff members also enjoyed an RWJBarnabas Health Family Day to complement the marathon and half marathon. The event, which was a unique opportunity for RWJBarnabas to reinforce its system wide mission, “Let’s Be Healthy Together,” featured an assortment of kids’ races and a 5K among other interactive activities.
