DENVILLE, NJ – Morris Knolls boys hockey notched a fourth consecutive win when it defeated Red Bank Catholic 6-0 on Wednesday, Jan. 16.
Sean Murray scored in the first period, assisted by Jason Kwestel and Jacob Walsh.
James Betz netted two goals – one in the second period, assisted by Joe Rabeno, and the other in the third, assisted by Walsh and Murray.
Walsh slammed the puck into the net in the second period, assisted by Murray and Kwestel.
Dylan Idland and Gehrig Eckoff scored one goal each in the third period; Idland’s unassisted and Eckoff’s assisted by Andrew Ryan.
Goalie Andrew Rush had 18 saves. On the opposite side of the rink, the Golden Eagles had 35 shots on goal.
The 8-8-1 Golden Eagles will face Madison on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 8 p.m., at the Mennen Sports Arena in Morristown.
