LIVINGSTON, NJ - On Monday, Livingston’s Investors Bank Plaza Branch held a VIP Reception at its new location in town. Recently, the bank, which has had a presence in town for 19 years, moved from its S. Livingston Avenue location by Shoprite 24 E. Northfield Road.
The new and much larger Plaza Branch now features a two-lane drive up, ample parking, safety deposit boxes and drive up ATMs, as well as typical banking services including mortgages, home equity loans and lines of credit, CDs, and a variety of checking and savings accounts.
Guests dined on dishes and desserts catered by The Brownstone as they mingled and took in the new space.
Livingston Plaza Branch Manager, Investors Bank, Dorothy Butler, who has been with the bank for 33 years, welcomed guests to the bank and said, “Working at Investors is like being part of a family.”
Livingston’s Pat Ippilito said, “While the new bank looks great, it is not just the physical structure, but the people that make Investors a special place—they are all so welcoming.”
“We want to change the face of banking, like Pat said—you are coming into our home with a warm welcome and leaving with a fond farewell,” said Kevin Cummings, President & Chief Executive Officer Investors Bank.
“Investors has the largest bank headquarters in NJ,” he added. “In this recession, we went from $6.8 billion to $16 billion because of our involvement in and commitment to communities like Livingston.”
Guest Marie Bennett of Livingston, who banks at Investors said, “Just today I was here and they did so much for me, with a smile. They really give you personal attention. They didn’t have to have this beautiful party to get my business, they earned it with their wonderful service.”
Barbara Sherman, who lives and works in Livingston echoed Bennett’s sentiments and said, “I have been banking here for 36 years, and even got my first mortgage from Investors. I can’t say enough good things about Dotty (Dorothy Butler)—she is wonderful. She picks great employees. Tonight, when I walked in to this party, I was greeted by my name—they know me here. I am always greeted here with a smile.”
