Investors Savings Bank is bringing its commitment to making a difference in the communities it serves to more neighborhoods in Essex and Passaic counties.

On Monday, October 19, Investors completed the acquisition of six Banco Popular branches located in Clifton, East Orange, Montclair and Newark. For the first time, Investors will be serving people and businesses in Newark, the Garden State's largest city. The Bank also opened its first location in Montclair and expanded its presence in Clifton by adding two more retail banking offices.

Banco Popular's Central Avenue branch in East Orange will be merged with Investors' East Orange location at 27 Prospect Street, which is less than a mile away from the former Banco Popular branch. Investor Savings Bank's newest branches will be located at the following addresses:

Clifton: 10 Botany Village Square East and 1610 Main Avenue

Montclair: 505 Bloomfield Avenue

Newark: 148 Ferry Street, in the city's Ironbound section, and 829 Sanford Avenue, in the Upper Vailsburg section of the West Ward

"We are very excited to serve customers in these vital New Jersey areas," said Investors Savings Bank's President and Chief Executive Officer Kevin Cummings. "We are fortunate to be able to grow and expand our retail network during these times. Investors is committed to providing best in class service to our new customers and will uphold our tradition of community involvement as we grow in Essex and Passaic counties".

Investors will immediately begin renovating these branches by installing new signage, and making each location welcoming and convenient. The branches will remain during the remodeling to ensure no interruption of service to customers.
