WEST CALDWELL, NJ – Things will get “curiouser and curiouser” at James Caldwell High School (JCHS), West Caldwell, this weekend when members of the schools Theatre Arts Program invite you to jump down the rabbit hole with them as they begin their theatrical season with the classic tale of Lewis Carol’s "Alice in Wonderland" on Oct. 25 and 26 at 7:00p.m. and Oct. 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the school’s Center for Performing Arts. James Caldwell is located at 265 Westville Avenue, West Caldwell.

“We are having so much fun preparing for this show,” said director Jensyn Modero. “Everything from the costumes to the scenery to the unbelievably talented students is sure to entertain young and old alike.”
Thirty-two student actors will take the stage and transform into the beloved characters from the well-known story adapted for the stage by Sharon Holland.
“The show comes to life through the use of theatrical makeup, dance, live music and black light puppetry, ” added Modero.

As a special offer, on Oct. 27 at 1:00 p.m., children three to seven-years old can join Alice for a craft, snack, and story followed by the performance. The pre-show educational and theatrical experience, brought to you by the students of the JCHS Theatre Arts Club, is free of charge with the purchase of a $5 student show ticket. Space is limited and ticket purchasers must select “ticket + story” when purchasing tickets online here.
