SUMMIT, NJ - Batavia Café, a contemporary café in downtown Summit, will present "Friday Dinner & Live Music", where diners can enjoy a three-course meal and live entertainment. Batavia hosts the "Friday Dinner & Live Music" events on the last Friday of each month.
Karen Egert, a successful jazz pianist and vocalist, who has been entertaining audiences in New York City and abroad for more than 20 years, will perform May 30 from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.
A Westfield resident, Egert divides her time between writing her own songs and performing. She has recorded two albums: " Let's Get Lost" and "That Thing Called Love.“ Her music is available on iTunes,Cdbaby.com, Amazon, and Pandora.
Egert's performance will consist of jazz standards, Brazilian songs, some covers, and her own original compositions. Dinner will consist of a three-course, prix fixe menu which includes appetizer, entrée, dessert, coffee and tea for $32/person. BYOB is welcome.
