JCC Announces ‘Cool Down Camp’ Schedule for Kids in Late August

Looking for something fun and productive for your kids to do at the end of this summer?

Well, Camp Yachad at the JCC of Central New Jersey has announced a special two-week camp open to the community available in single day or week sessions for kids ranging from preschool (Ages 3-4) to kids entering 5th grade. The ‘Cool Down Camp’ will run in two separate week-long sessions from Monday, August 18 to Friday August 22 and Monday, August 25 to Friday August 29.

‘Preschool Explorers’ for ages 3-4 includes instructional swim, gross motor play, enrichments (art, music, gardening, sports), snack time and special event days.

The older kids will enjoy free swim, time for their special activity (which includes sports, art or science camp), snack time and camp-wide special events.

The camp schedule follows:

  • Preschool Explorers – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Preschool Explorers – 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • K-5th Grade Art/Sports/Science Camp – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Early arrival and late stay options are available starting from 7 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m.
