JERSEY CITY, NJ - With a second baby on the way, Mayor Steven Fulop and his wife Jaclyn are seeking zoning approval to expand their Ogden Avenue home to create a nursery.

“We are just closing in part of the deck so we can have a room for Jaxon and the baby,” Fulop said. “We are doing everything in line with our neighbors and going through the entire process like any other resident. It's really not a big deal or change. Our family is growing, and we don't want to leave our current home, but we do need to have a plan for the new baby.”

Married since 2016, Mayor Fulop and the First Lady, herself a successful small business owner, dated for two years and acquired their home just prior to their nuptials. Their son was born in August 2019.
